Project — We assisted restaurateur and long-time agency client Robert Guarino, along with his hospitality group Chef Driven, in launching an ode to modern Italian cuisine, making it a jewel of the Upper West Side dining scene.

Strategy and Creative — Sempre Oggi draws inspiration from the renowned Italian architect and designer Gio Ponti. We collaborated closely with the architectural design team to infuse this inspiration into the restaurant’s identity and space. This included using custom handmade ceramic tiles that echo Ponti’s collaboration with Ceramica D’Agostino, from which we developed various patterns and design elements. The name, meaning “always today,” manifested into a logo and identifying mark featured on signage and emblazoned on the epic oven within the open kitchen.

Results — The restaurant and design system have been praised as simply beautiful, with stakeholders and diners alike delighted with the outcome. Now, you just have to get a reservation.
